A Workshop at UOITC to Evaluate Electronic Systems Designed by the Commission and the University 
 The Evaluation Committee for the work of the software systems in the Iraqi Commission for Computers and Informatics and the University of Information Technology and Communication held a symposium to evaluate the electronic systems used by the departments and the university.
The workshop, which was sponsored and attended by the President of the University and the Commission, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen al-Bakri, was inaugurated by the teacher Mohamed Abdel Wahab in the presence of the members of the committee and in the presence of officials of the scientific centers, heads of departments and a number of employees.
The Committee for Evaluation and Follow-up of the work of the systems gave a brief presentation of the software systems used by the Commission and the University with a comparison in terms of work on the system and the extent of its need to work in addition to the number of users working on the system and problems faced by the user and recommendations of the Committee and other topics.
The presentation also included statistics on the systems that work in the Commission and the University and what has actually been achieved by providing the necessary inputs for the success of the system's work, such as providing the equipment and users trained on the system, as well as addressing the obstacles and problems that stand in the way of implementing and applying some electronic systems, the unwillingness of some departments to work on a particular system under the pretext that the system does not fit with the activity of the department. For his part, President of the university and the Commission Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen al-Bakri expressed optimism about the work of the Committee and identify the strengths and weaknesses through statistics, and is supposed to use a range of electronic services that must be unique to our university from the rest of the universities.
Evaluation will be continuous and scheduled according to a specific time plan for the development of programs and electronic systems by programmers and users to reach binding recommendations designed to develop solutions and follow up the use of these systems and develop them in order to access the electronic university ". During the workshop, substantive recommendations were made regarding what would happen if some systems and databases were merged to produce better and more comprehensive results in order to achieve the principle of what is known as Smart University by opening the discussion between developers and designers of electronic systems, users or beneficiaries.
It was also agreed to hold subsequent meetings and workshops to follow up the implementation of this work in order to achieve the completion of business as quickly and effortlessly.
