Training Courses in Microsoft SQL Server Ver.2014 and Electronic Human Resources Management
The Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications concluded a training course in Microsoft SQL Server Ver. 2014 and the electronic management of human resources with the participation of the number of staff of the Central Bank of Iraq, the Ministry of Oil, and staff of the University.
The purpose of the Microsoft SQL Server Ver. 2014 was to provide the participants with the tools and skills to identify program components, manage databases, schedule relationships, design system reports, and define security policies to access databases.
The Electronic Human Resources course, which lasted for (5) days, aimed to familiarize participants with the importance of electronic management of human resources and its application requirements and its role in providing information with the required characteristics as soon as possible to make appropriate decisions within the organization and the management of human efforts through the rapid completion of administrative work and how to apply it.
The Department of Continuous Learning at the University completed its training courses for May
The Department of Continuous Learning at the UOITC completed its training courses for May which included introductory courses on PMP, Linux and Windows Server 2012.
The PMP course on a 10-day focused on training the participants on project management skills and standards, and the best international practices in this area, as detailed in PMBok4 (PMI) To pass the international Project Management Professional (PMP) exam offered by the Institute.
The 8-day Linux course was about how to get the basic skills to learn about the finer details of the operating system (Linux), the advantages of open source operating systems, how to handle them, the management of Linux-enabled applications, the methods of controlling the network and dealing with users.
The Windows Server 2012 course included lectures on getting the participants the tools and skills that would enable them to take advantage of the system in network management and managing the servers and computers that are connected to the network and the users of these computers.
A number of employees participated in these courses who are from the Iraqi Council of Representatives, the Ministry of Oil, the Central Bank of Iraq, the Iraqi National Intelligence office and the Iraqi Commission for Computers and Informatics.
The Department of Continuious Education Concludes a Number of Training Courses during April in the Professional Areas of Websites Programming, Network + and Microsoft Visual Basic
The Department of Continuious Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications ended a number of training courses during the month of April with the participation of a number of employees of the Council of Ministers and employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies and Planning and Follow-up, the Central Bank of Iraq and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau and the Industrial Bank of Iraq.
The 10-day Network + course is designed to introduce participants to the basic concepts of networking, how to transfer data over the network, network types and networking, network equipment, devices and protocols, and to gain participants practical, theoretical and technical information in network design.
The 10-day course of Microsoft Visual Basic.NET 2013 aims to develop the correct software skills for an advanced stage of object programming. The Department of Continuious Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications continues to provide training courses as scheduled in the department's curriculum for the first half of year 2018.
On the other hand, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs Dr. Jean Jalil Astefan visited the Department to see the reality of the courses and services provided by the department from the scientific and scientific side.
UoITC Organizes a Training Course on the Unified Iraqi Electronic Library
The University of Information Technology and Communications organized a training course on the use of the unified Iraqi electronic library.
The workshop was held at the laboratories of the Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communication, in coordination with the Department of Research and Development in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The university was selected by the ministerial committee in charge of giving the training course. It lasted from 15 - 17/4/2018.
The training course was given by Mr. Shukr Humaid Juma and Ms. Farah Muayad, in the presence of Dr. Faiza Adib Al Bayati, Director of the Library Development Division in the Department of Research and Development. More than 40 participants, the librarians of Iraqi universities and affiliated centers, (Baghdad Technological, Mustansiriya, Nahrain, Basrah, Sumer, Qadisiyah, Mansur, Technical College, Iraqi Council of Medical Specialties, Anbar) participated in this course.
The training course, in addition to theoretical lecture about the system and practical aspects of the application to identify the mechanism of the system of free space available for download through the Internet and spread globally, and applied at the local level, in addition to the system provides full support for the Arabic language, RTL interfaces.
For her part, the assistant of the president of the university for scientific affairs, Dr. Jean Jalil Astephan, attended the course and welcomed the guests of the university as well as its emphasis on providing all the necessary requirements for the success of this course and answer all queries. The system will be implemented in the central libraries in universities all of Iraq.
Continuing education has completed a number of training courses during the month of March
The Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications has conducted training courses for some of the employees of the State and private sector which were held during the month of March. The courses included project management course, the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 course, and the Microsoft Access course.
The Department organized its training program for the first half of 2018, where the project management session was conducted using MS project 2016.It lasted for 10 days and was attended by employees of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Oil and Ministry of Finance. The course aimed at equipping the trainee skills in developing an implementation plan for various projects and controlling costs of the project and its resources and the duration of its implementation. The lectures of this session were given by Assistant teacher Marwan Abdul Muttalib.
The course of Microsoft SQL Server 2008, which lasted for 10 days and was attended by a group of employees of the Ministry of Finance and the House of Representatives. The course dealt with enabling the trainee to identify the components of the program and database management and relations between tables and the correction of the reports of the systems. The lectures of the session were presented by Assistant Chief Engineer Balqis Karim Idam .
The course also included the course of Microsoft Access, which was presented by the assistant teacher Rajaa Da'ami addressed the participants' access to general knowledge of the terminology of the databases and the relations between the tables and the correcting of the models and reports organization. The course was attended by staff from the Central Bank of Iraq and the Ministry of Finance and Baghdad College of Medical Sciences.
It is worth mentioning that the Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications is dedicated to providing specialized courses in the field of the computer as well as courses of competence for postgraduate students.
Continuous Education Concludes a Training Course for the Office of the Prime Minister's Staff
The Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications held a training program for a group of staff of the Prime Minister's Office that included a Microsoft Office training course, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
The training course, which was given intensively in (10) days, was prepared especially for the second group after the first group ended the same course and was coordinated between the Department of Training and Development in the Prime Minister's Office and the Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications.
The Microsoft Word course aims at introducing participants to the text editing program and create and prepare the page with advanced skill as well as improving their official correspondence.
The Microsoft Excel course aims at introducing the participants extensively to the tables, creating various tables and performing various mathematical calculations on them in an organized and coordinated manner.
Continuous Education at UOITC concludes a training course for the Office of the Prime Minister in Microsoft Office
The Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications has completed a training course in Microsoft Office programs Which includes Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Word programs.
The course lasted for 15 days, for a group of staff of the Prime Minister's Office.
This was done in coordination between the Department of Training and Development in the Prime Minister's Office and the Department of Continuous Education at the University.
The training program included training of staff in the form of two groups and training for the second group during the month of March.
The Microsoft Office Word course introduces participants to the text editing program, creating and preparing the page with advanced skills.
The Microsoft Office Excel course aims at introducing participants extensively to approved spreadsheet programs, creating various tables, and performing various calculations.
UOITC trains the staff of the Prime Minister's Office on the maintenance of printing and copier equipment
The Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a training course in the maintenance and installation of photocopying and printing equipment for the staff of the Prime Minister's Office. The course lasted five days, including theoretical and practical training. The course was given by Mr. Mohamed Abdul Aziz, a staff member at the University of Information Technology and Communications. He trained the participants on various printing and photocopying machines and contributed to the maintenance and installation of photocopiers in the Prime Minister's Office (Konica Minolta, Canon), where participants on the last day of the session were able to fix some of the devices actually idle. The course was held at the Prime Minister's Office where the training course was coordinated by the Department of Training and Development in the Office and the Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications .
