UOITC trains the staff of the Prime Minister's Office on the maintenance of printing and copier equipment
The Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a training course in the maintenance and installation of photocopying and printing equipment for the staff of the Prime Minister's Office. The course lasted five days, including theoretical and practical training. The course was given by Mr. Mohamed Abdul Aziz, a staff member at the University of Information Technology and Communications. He trained the participants on various printing and photocopying machines and contributed to the maintenance and installation of photocopiers in the Prime Minister's Office (Konica Minolta, Canon), where participants on the last day of the session were able to fix some of the devices actually idle. The course was held at the Prime Minister's Office where the training course was coordinated by the Department of Training and Development in the Office and the Department of Continuous Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications .

The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Dr. Abbas Mohsen al-Bakri visited the Department of Continuous Education to inspect the conduct of training courses for English and computer proficiency tests organized by the University.
Al-Bakri met the employees of the Department of Continuous Education and urged them to make more efforts to serve the students and employees of other institutions in particular and the society in general because the department is in direct contact with the audience of the university through training courses and proficiency of English language and computer for postgraduate students in Iraqi universities.
Al-Bakri stressed during his tour the need to create and provide all the necessary requirements to perform the competitive examination of applicants for postgraduate studies in the computer and English language because it is important in the process of admission and access to the postgraduate studies.
The Department of Continuous Education associated with the presidency of the university and all its staff had prepared laboratories and halls with Computers and internet lines for the success of these courses.
It should be noted that these tests come in accordance with the instructions of the Department of Research and Development in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as one of the requirements for submission of postgraduate studies within Iraq, and the Department of Continuous Education is the center responsible for these tests in the university according to specific dates and timetables.

has organized courses in Networking Security (Cisco), Microsoft Visual Basic.NET 2013 Advanced and Networks +
and the latest trends in management. with the participation of a group of staff of the Prime Minister's Office,
the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance / Ibn Sina University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Al Nisour University College and the Iraqi Commision for Computers and Informatics. The 10-day network security course, Cisco, aims to provide participants with basic concepts of network security, common attack types, infiltrations of networked computers and knowledge of the techniques used to prevent these attacks.
The course included Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2013 Advanced (15) days to develop the correct software skills for an advanced stage of object-oriented programming to design systems that control all operating system resources from text data (input and output). The 10-day Network + course aimed at introducing participants to the basic concepts of networking and how to transfer data over the network, as well as the types of networks and their connections, equipment, devices and network protocols, and the acquisition of practical, theoretical and technical information in network design. The five-day course on modern methods and trends in management aims to enhance the importance of the human element to participants as the basic foundation for development at the individual and institutional levels and to develop knowledge, skills and techniques related to human management.
Department of Continuous Education Organized Training Courses in Managing Human Resources , Windows Server2012 and ASP.NET.
The Department of Continuous Education at UOITC has completed training courses in e-management for human resources, Windows Server2012 and ASP.NET with the participation of a group of employees from the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Financial Censorship, Al-Rafidain bank and the Ministry of Culture.
The E-MHR course, which lasted for 5 days, aimed to introduce to participants the importance of electronic management of human resources, the requirements of applying it and its role in providing information and data with the required characteristics as soon as possible to take appropriate decisions within the organization. E-MHR contributes in reducing the waste in efforts of human resource management through quick implementing of administrative work and the way of applying it.
Windows Server 2012 course which lasted for 10 days learned the participants how to take advantage from the tools and skills of the system in network management, server management, the networked computers and the users of these computers.
While the course of ASP.NET which lasted for 25 days aimed to learn the participants skills in designing and programming websites in an interactive manner and providing the trainee with high-level skills using ASP.NET and Visual Studio environment. The code and design in ASP.NET are separated through Code Behind and characterized by (IDE, large code library, ready tools, multi used languages).

The Department of Continuing Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized training courses in Microsoft SQL Server ver.2012, computer qualification and business operations management with the participation of a group of staff of the Prime Minister's Office, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance / Rafidain Bank, the Iraqi National Bank and the private sector. The 10-day course of Microsoft SQL Server vervey aims to provide participants with the tools and skills to identify the components of the program, manage the databases, the relationships between the tables, design the systems reports and determine the security policy to access the databases. (10) days of basic computer and operating system windows and text editor (word) and Excel and PowerPoint and introduction to the Internet. As for the five-day course of business operations, which is a key course in the service delivery process and the production process through which the projects achieve their basic objectives. The course aims to train the participants in the basic concepts of the operational work and the mathematical models of the operations with the function of providing services and production and it is considered to be an executive function for business.
