UoITC Participates in the First Founding Conference of Deaf and Mute Society
The University of Information Technology and Communications participated in the first founding conference held by the Association of the Deaf and Mute in Iraq.
"Our university has offered to help the Deaf and Mute Society in Iraq by offering training courses at the University's Continuous Education Center," said the voce president for scientific affairs, Dr. Jane Jalil Astephan.
Ms. Astephan praised the role of the Deaf and Mute Association in Iraq in containing this segment and providing various services to them. She also praised the efforts made to involve them in the community and develop their different skills.
"The University of Information Technology and Communications pioneered the provision of public services to the community in various public and private sectors, and the labor market has provided human and technological cards in the field of ICT through its professors and graduate students," she said.
