A research team from the University of Information Technology and Communications within the top ten in the competition of programming creativity at Anbar University
A research team from the UOITC participated in the first software innovation competition held at the Computer Center at Anbar University in cooperation with Zain Telecommunications.
The University team participated by the practical application entitled: “Human Face detection and tracking using FPGA”
For detecting and tracking system of the face using the multi-programmable matrix system, which in turn increases the speed of data processing as it was designed as parallel processors.
The participation is in the top ten among the large number of participants from different governmental and private universities.
The research team included Dr. Omran Moussa, Assist. Lect. Mohamed Abdel Rahim, Assist. Lect. Laith Sabah and Assist. Lect. Fouad Hammadi.
