The College of Medical Informatics organized an online workshop on inference using Turnintin.
The workshop referred to the way of work on Turnitin program, which is one of the most widespread educational applications in the world, and it is an innovative and effective online technology for assessing researches and measuring the rate of plagiarism in articles and scientific researches for students and researchers, by comparing the sent research papers with several databases.
The site uses its own algorithm that scans its databases as well as with websites, and then the matching percentage between the sent material and other scientific researches is determined according to licensing agreements with large academic databases.
The workshop was presented on the Zoom platform by Lect. Dr. Nael Ahmed Mohammed, Asst. Lect. Heba Mohammed Wajih, Asst. Lect. Ahlam Rashed Kharbat.
