This workshop entitled “Organizational Structure and Terms of Reference.” was organized by the Faculty of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communications with the aim of enhancing the skills and information of associates on the administrative side.
The workshop led by Mr. Ala’a Turki Jihad, head of the Division of Human Resources of the College, addressed the introduction of the organizational structure, how to manage the institution, its importance, and how it works properly to facilitate the day-to-day work of the administration and to do the work accurately.
The workshop included ways to maximize the use of managerial competencies (organizational chart) and how to achieve automatic control (organizational structure)
It also outlined the types of organizational structure (formal and informal), their difference, their relationship with decision-makers, and the steps necessary to establish an organizational structure. and the necessary steps to establish an appropriate organizational structure for the institution
At the end of the workshop, the guide to administrative powers was explained in terms of organizational structure, types (centralization and decentralization), pros and cons of each type.
