The University of Information Technology and communication entered transparency classification for the month of January 2022 .

The reference to the Transparent Ranking is one of the axes for (Webometrics) classification and is issued by the Supreme Council for Scientific Studies in Spain. The classification is based on calculating a reference number of researchers in academic institutions based on researchers’ accounts in Google Scholar about 7.500 academic institutions.

The list included (91) Iraqi universities and colleges, the University of Information, ranked 38 locally with 1844 citation research citations.
