The University of Information Technology and Communications participated in organizing a workshop on the Intilaq competition presented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the German Agency GIZ and a number of companies.
And the workshop was opened by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, with a speech in which he urged the students on the importance of entrepreneurship and focus on establishing start-up and entrepreneurial projects.
A number of Iraqi university professors participated in the workshop, as Dr. Alaa Talal Yassin from the University of Information Technology and Communication , Dr. Mustafa Hamid Farhan from Al-Nahrain University, and Dr. Ali Salem Ali from the Iraqi University .
The workshop was attended by a number of university professors and a group of students from its three colleges who received direct training from Dr. Alaa Talal Yassin, who on the first day of the workshop touched on the types of entrepreneurship, sustainable development goals and skills in design thinking. The second day will be devoted to clarifying and explaining the business model scheme. The winning teams to compete at the level of 38 Iraqi universities.
