The second phase of the training programme for employees of State institutions towards digital transformation in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers was launched at the University of Information Technology and Communications /Centre for Continuing Education “Since its foundation , the University of Information Technology and Communications has sought to support government programs with a number of local and international companies, and the training, development and capacity-building programme is one of the government programs sought by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers through the Diwani Order 22,” said University President Dr. Abbas Mohsen al-Bakri. Capacity-building was entrusted to our university and in cooperation with companies from inside and outside Iraq. The first phase of this programme was implemented last year. It was organized by the Training and Development Centre of the University of Information Technology and Communications in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers/Group for Training, Development and International Support. A development training workshop was held as part of the second phase.
The workshop included two lectures ; the first one was presented by the President of the University, Professor Abbas Mohsen al-Bakri, entitled “E-Government Shifts in Enterprises,” and the second lecture, entitled “Central admissions mechanism service for university students within the online portal of the Department of Studies and Planning.” it was introduced by asst. Lec. Safa Jawad Alwan and Asst. Lec. Osama Samir Mahmood.
The workshop included the distribution of thanks and appreciation letters to the workshop lecturers and trainers in the first phase of the training programme.
