The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, signed a cooperation agreement with the President of Al-Zahraa University, peace be upon her, for Girls, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani with the presence of the University’s Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Louay Adwar George and Administrative Assistant Dr. Mahdi Nassif Jassim and Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Moayad Abdel-Saheb, Dean of the College of Biomedical Informatics, Dr. Intisar Al-Mojbli and on the behalf of Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Ali Hassan Tarish. The agreement included several axes, including the axis of teaching, exchanging experiences, and giving lectures for limited periods, as well as the axis of scientific research and what is related to improving scientific research and the level of researchers between the two universities. This agreement raises the level of the two universities and makes them keep pace with the established universities. It also aims to increase the bonds of cooperation, open new horizons in the academic and scientific fields, and raise the level of scientific research, in addition to achieving the seventeenth goal of the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, which is to establish partnerships to achieve the goals.
