A research project by the higher diploma student was discussed at the Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications

The project of the student (Ihab Mahmoud Jamil), was under the title: Hybrid machine learning for sentiment analysis in big data streaming.

The research dealt with a proposed hybrid machine learning methodology for sentiment analysis in big data streams for hybrid CNN – logistic regression.
The results showed the importance of pre-processing the data, including (translation, conversion to lowercase, removal of stop words, encoding, and excision of words to root words, word embedding).
This enhances the quality of the data and contributes to improving the accuracy of the model.
