Student Thamer Hussein Ali from the Biomedical Informatics College participated in the Arab Talent Championship, organized by the Scientific Welfare Department at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
This tournament was held with the participation of ten Arab countries (Iraq, Mauritania, Yemen, Tunisia, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Algeria, Libya, and Morocco).
The Lebanese delegation won the Talent Championship title, while Iraq took second place, and third place was shared equally between Yemen and Libya.
The closing ceremony was attended by many representatives of the embassies of the participating countries, the heads of the participating delegations, and the advanced staff of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
Several activities and participations were also held after it, which showed and expressed their support for the Palestinian cause against the war waged by the usurping Zionist entity, and this was followed by the distribution of medals and victory cups on the winning teams and taking souvenir photos.
