The Continuing Education Department at the University held a seminar on developing educational communication skills. The seminar addressed the concept of presentation, speaking and lecturing skills, and effective classroom management, which is a practical embodiment of the teacher’s educational performance and the development of behavioral patterns among students, in addition to the concept of communication and classroom interaction.
The seminar was presented by the two university lecturers, Asmaa Abdul Rahman and Sabreen Ghaleb Kathim. The seminar focused on the factors influencing classroom management, including education policy, the general objectives of each curriculum, the subject matter, the lesson topic and the educational environment, as it is based on strengthening and activating human relations between the student and the teacher, who is a role model and must have a set of linguistic skills, influence, persuasion, good listening, excitement, suspense, diversification and reinforcement.
