Within implementing the programs and activities of the National Strategy for Education for October, the Continuous Education Department at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a symposium on developing electronic management skills. The symposium was presented by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof. Louay Edward George, and Director of the Continuous Education Department, Lect. Huda Abdul Hussein, on the concept of electronic management, the stages of transformation from traditional to electronic management, the goals, benefits, and requirements of electronic management, and the challenges and obstacles to maturing electronic management.
The symposium also referred to the stages of digital maturity, which include the initial academic stage, the stage of building infrastructure and connecting it to the system, the stage of operating it and monitoring its work, and finally, the stage of maturity in performance. The symposium also discussed electronic services in general circulation, and the human resources provided by the University, including the postal and human resources system, which provides its users with several services, including archiving administrative books, as well as gratitude books that the employees receive, in addition to the ordinary leave card, his balance of days, and other services. provided by this system.
