The University of Information Technology and Communications delivered the digital Quran reader project to the Scientific Assembly of the Holy Abbasy Threshold after a specialized programming team from the university completed it. The university president, Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, and the assistant university president for administrative affairs, Dr. Mahdi Naseef Jasim, received the programming team and a delegation from the Holy Abbassy Threshold led by Dr. Lua’ Abdul Hassan Attia, the scientific assistant to the head of the Scientific Assembly of the Quran.

During the meeting, the project (digital Quran reader) was handed over, with a detailed presentation of the project and its important details. Dr. Al-Bakri said: “The project has been preliminarily delivered to the Scientific Assembly of the Quran, and work is still ongoing with the Holy Abbassy Threshold until the project is fully matured before its official launch.”

Dr. Lua’ said: “Today, the delegation from the Scientific Assembly of the Quran received the digital Quran reader project after nearly a year of continuous work on completing it by a specialized team from the university.”

The Scientific Assembly of the Quran honored the university president, his administrative assistant, and the programming team that executed the project, in appreciation of their blessed efforts in completing such an important project that serves millions of Muslims inside and outside Iraq.
