The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, in collaboration with the Aswar Academy for Training and Development, organized a training workshop titled “Optical Fiber.”
Dr. Murtadha Talib Muhammad delivered the workshop, discussing optical fiber technologies and the solutions adopted by the American ETA institution in this field. The university president, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, the president of Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, a group of professors from both universities, as well as several graduates and students were among the attendees.
Aswar Academy offers advanced international certificates such as FOI, aiming to provide free training to introduce graduates and students to modern technologies used in the private sector.
The academy also provides programs to bridge the gap between graduates and the job market. It is worth noting that the number of participants in the training workshop reached 112 trainees, and the academy will award participation certificates along with an internship program on the topic of optical fiber.
