A symposium organized by the College of Engineering on the Negative Effects of Mobile Phone use, and Radiation Protection
The College of Engineering held a webinar entitled "The Negative Effects of Mobile Phone use, and Methods of Radiation Protection".
The symposium presented by "Assist. Lect. Mohammed Khudhair" focused on the negative effects of using a mobile phone on health, as it is one of the causes of cancer diseases and nerve diseases due to the radiation emitted from it, as mobile phones release radio frequency energy (Radio Signals) that can be absorbed by body tissues, and it was pointed out that the entry of our mobile phones into the smallest details of our daily lives made it difficult to dispense from them.
The symposium stressed the need for a balance (Trade off) between mobile phone use and prevention methods to reduce the damage caused by emitted radio frequencies.
