The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems is a newly established interdisciplinary academic program in Iraqi universities, aiming to improve the quality of healthcare through the integration of information technology, artificial intelligence, and biomedical sciences.
In our department, we go beyond training students to solve problems—we prepare a new generation of thinkers and changemakers capable of making a positive impact in their communities. Mission
To prepare distinguished graduates with the skills necessary to keep pace with developments in information technology and apply them in medical and biological fields, enabling them to compete effectively in both local and global job markets.
Objectives
The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems aims to produce graduates capable of:
1. Using and developing intelligent medical technologies and systems, keeping up with rapid advancements in digital medical technologies.
2. Designing and implementing medical programs related to health systems.
3. Collecting, discovering, and analyzing medical data to serve scientific research and achieve comprehensive healthcare.
4. Enhancing collaboration with relevant sectors inside and outside Iraq.
5. Developing students’ personalities by instilling ethical and humanitarian values, and equipping them with leadership, problem-solving, quality assurance, and professional behavior skills.
