A lecturer at the Engineering College at the University of Information Technology and Communications, Assist. Lect. Adham Rabie Aziz, published a research paper titled “Design of High Gain UWB Vivaldi Antenna with Dual Band-Notches Characteristics”, as the researcher from the Information and Communications Technology Engineering Department, presented a research paper on the design and manufacture of a highly directed Tapered-Slot Antenna covers a very wide range of frequencies using the Slot-Spurline technology, which is a technology used for the first time with this type of antennas, and through it, the researcher dealt with the problem of achieving isolation at some frequencies negatively affected the rest of the antenna’s characteristics, such as losing control over the form of radiation and being unable to control it.
It is worth noting that this research was published in a European journal (Q1) within the Scopus domain.
