The department of Continuous Education in the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a number of training courses within its training program with the participation of a group of employees from the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Oil, The Iraqi Commission for Computers and Informatics, the private sector, and a group of the University employees.
These courses lasted for the month of February. They included The Professional Course for Computer Leadership which qualifies the participants to use Microsoft Office programs in work environments and a course in The Security of Networks (CISCO) which introduces the participants to the basic information of networks security, the hacks which attacks them and how to prevent them.
In addition to a training course in Adobe Premiere which develops the participants’ skills in editing and producing videos and a course in laboratory accreditation according to international standards ( ISO/ IEC 17020: 2005). It introduces the participants to the basic information in laboratory accreditation, the application steps, and the development of laboratories.
