The Continuing Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications completed the second training course for the program for developing and qualifying university leaders and human resources (financial skills axis).
This course comes based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up and in implementation of two projects to develop and qualify university leaders according to a scientific plan developed for the years (2023, 2024, 2025) and according to five axes. The second training course lasted five days from 3/31 to 4/4/2024. It was attended by some department, division, and unit officials at the university and its colleges who received scientific training, and it was presented by Dr. Wafaa Al-Haidari, teaching at the Higher Institute for Financial and Accounting Studies at the University of Baghdad, and Dr. Ibrahim Naeem Dr. Mustafa Walid from the University of Information Technology and Communications.

The course covered many topics related to the financial aspect of government institutions, such as the concept and guide of the unified accounting system, the stages and steps of preparing budgets and general allocations, auditing and internal control processes, management of warehouse systems, as well as financial management and analysis and performance evaluation.

The course concluded with a test for the participants, as the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and members of the supervising committee were keen to be present to closely see the reality of the second development session for university leaders and human resources.
