University of Information Technology and Communications receives gifts from Zain Iraq for outstanding students
Zain has provided a range of free gifts to students of the UOITC university. Zain’s gifts included dedicating a number of printers such as SAMSUNG, Internet e-Go and ZainFi to outstanding and distinguished students and some departmental managers at the university.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas M. Al-Bakry, through his speech during the gifts distribution ceremony, thanked the Zain Iraq Telecom Company for sponsoring and supporting the scientific process in Iraq by providing gifts and sponsoring training courses for students.
University president also added “The university has a number of activities and scientific conferences and hopes to cooperate with Zain Telecom to sponsor a number of these university activities.”
The representative of Zain Iraq Telecom, Ms. Watan Al-Tai said that Zain’s campaign includes all universities and its goal is to develop the level of Iraqi youth and keep abreast of developments to meet the requirements of the labor market, adding that the company will be in contact with universities, including the UOITC university to sponsor the summer training and development programs for students and other services.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University, accompanied by members of Zain Iraq, distributed gifts to outstanding students from the Faculty of Business Information and the College of Engineering in a mood of joy and happiness that overwhelmed the students, their colleagues and the teaching staff at the University.
