The College of Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a scientific lecture entitled “Renewable Energy Research and Carbon Emission Reduction”.
The lecture was presented by Ali Muhammad Al-Eibi, the lecturer in the Department of Mobile Communications and Computing Engineering, in which he introduced a definition of renewable energy as a source of clean energy.
The lecture also presented the many benefits for both the economy and the environment in terms of lower costs and the reduction of carbon emissions, thus solving the problem of global warming and its negative impact on the global climate.
The lecture dealt with presenting countries’ experiences in the field of clean energy, especially after integrating them with technological developments, which make them more efficient and reliable, which makes renewable energy one of the energy sources that saves the world from the disadvantages of old energy sources.
