The Faculty of Biomedical Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications held a symposium on “Uses of ChatGPT Application: Opportunities and Challenges.”
The symposium was delivered by lecturers at the college, Assist. Lect. Safana Zaid Ahmed and Assist. Lect. Zaid Ali Sa’eed, and during the symposium, an overview of the ChatGPT application and some modern techniques in digital technology and its uses was discussed, and the impact of this use on society through the use of artificial intelligence applications in all areas of life such as engineering, medical, media and educational.
The symposium also focused on the need for science to be linked to ethics during the use of the application by researchers and users, and adherence to it by all interested parties and developers, in order to maintain the path of science and scientific development in parallel with the ethical system.
