A group of UOITC lecturers participated in the international conference of communication, management, and information technology (ICCMIT) which was held in Warsaw National University in Poland from 3rd-5th of April 2017.

The conference themes included several topics like: ( Artificial Intelligence, Computing and distributing Systems, Electronic Government, Web Services, Security, Visual Processing, Database…etc). Dr. Saif Qasim, dr. Muhammed Qasim and dr. Thakir Naiel had participated in the conference with their research entitled ” The Techniques and Methods Used to Upgrade and Find the Optimization for the Structure of the Organization’s information System” It emphasized updating the traditional systems in the organizations through the use of networks and the organizations’ available capabilities besides adding the thermal measurement equipment to minimize efforts and labor force. In addition to creating technology and methods to find the optimization to achieve the purpose of upgrading old systems to electronic ones which are integrated and consistent with the organization’s current system.

The research won the admiration of the participants and the scientific committee of the conference through discussion and questions raised during its presentation. The delegation was awarded a certificate of participation certified by ( IEEE). In addition to Software Licenses and Various Software Package Award worth 1000 US dollars. The delegation gave it as a gift to the rectorship to use it in the college of business informatics’ departments and labs.

From his side, the rector Dr. Abas Muhsin Albakry appreciated the delegation’s role in raising the name of Iraq, the Ministry of Higher education and Scientific Research, and the University of Information Technology and Communications by participating in such international forums. The research was presented under the patronage of the University of Information Technology and Communications as a specialized university in information technology and communications. The delegation beard the expenses of participation in this international conference.
