The Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a workshop on the curriculum system with the participation of various Iraqi public and private universities.
Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Saheb Hashim, head of the curriculum design team, said that the workshop “aims to demonstrate the benefits and advantages of this system, the various options offered by the student in the freedom to select the subjects he / she wishes to study , reduce the duration of study without affecting scientific sobriety, and to clarify the differences between it and the annual system applicable in Iraqi universities. ”
The workshop reviewed the mechanism of work of the exam committees in the scientific departments, and the requirements for graduation of the student according to the system of courses and the number of hours of study required by scientific specialization.
