Research group of UoITC participates in the 18th The International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications (ISDA)-2018 in India.

A research group from University of Information Technology and Communications consisted of Dr. Omran Musa Hamoudi, Asst. Lect. Laith sabah Madid and Asst. Lect. Mohammed abdulraheem; have participated along with researchers from The Queensland University of Technology University in the International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications (ISDA) which took place in India for the period from 6-8 December 2018 with four applied researches in developing algorithms that serve various medical fields.

The researchers in the first paper, titled “Boosting Convolutional Neural Networks Performance based on FPGA Accelerator’, has considered enhancing and boosting convolutional neural Networks using a system of programmable parallel arrays.

While the 2nd paper, titled of “Classification of Red Blood Cells in Sickle Cell Anemia Using Deep Convolutional Neural Network”, focused on red blood cells classification using deep convolutional networks.

Also the researchers considered Real-time CG diagnosis using programmable parallel arrays with the title of “Real-time PCG Diagnosis using FPGA”.

While the 4th paper has the title of “Robust and Efficient Approach to Diagnose Sickle Cell Anemia in Blood”.

It is important to mention that papers accepted within the classification of ISI, Scopus, DBLP, and springer link will be published by Springer Nature in the book series of “Advance in intelligent Systems and Computing”.

The above scientific researches were presented in the conference through ‘virtual presentation’, where researchers from more than 30 countries from USA, Africa, Germany, Japan, and others, have participated in the international conference.
