Dr. Nael Ahmed Mohammed the head of Intelligent Medical Systems in the BioMedical Informatics College published a scientific paper entitled “Towards 5G millimeter-wave wireless networks: A comparative study on electro-optical conversion techniques” in the scientific journal Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering Engineering and Computer Science which classified Q3 in Scopus Database. The research dealt with using three techniques of optical-electrical conversations are tripling-4, tripling-6, and tripling-8 to generate a millimetric signal with 60 gigahertz and compare among them the researcher used OptiSys software Simulator to achieve the results.
