The Faculty of Medical Informatics at the University held a seminar entitled Deepfake, in the presence of a number of professors and College students.
The seminar aims to show the benefit of using Deepfake technology in the medical field and psychotherapy, as to benefit from the advantages of this technology in proportion to the orientations of the College in serving the medical community.
During the seminar, a review of Deepfake technology, which is modern and based on artificial intelligence, machine learning and Deep learning, in which artificial neural network algorithms are used to produce counterfeit videos based on a specific source video, in addition to reviewing applications derived from this technology, such as face to face and faces swapping. Also, scientific researches in this field was reviewed.
