The University of Information Technology and Communications entered the British Times Classification of Sustainable Development 2021 within thirty-seven Iraqi governmental and private universities and colleges in accordance with the United Nations objectives of supervision, awareness-raising and education on sustainable development goals.

According to the Times official website:

this classification in its current version showed 1115 universities from 94 countries, while 37 universities and colleges ( governmental and private)were registered.

Its attendance in this classification is 16 more than the results of the year 2020.

It should be noted that the British Times Classification of Sustainable Development works to evaluate universities for achieving a number of United Nations 17 goals, including quality education, health, partnerships, industry, innovation, climate action and gender equality.
