The Continuing Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications , in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers/Training, Development and International Support Team, organized the third developmental training workshop within the capacity-building training program/the second phase for employees of state institutions towards electronic transformations.
The workshop, which was titled Cybersecurity risks and threats and ways to prevent them, included two axes, which were presented by the Firewall Company for Cyber ​​Security Services, which included an introduction to the definition of cybersecurity, and its importance for government institutions, companies and individuals.
The second axis of the workshop focused on how to protect the organization and personal security from cyber attacks and the ten commandments to be followed when traveling to reduce the risk of cyber threats.
For his part, Colonel Omar Afkar Ibrahim , director of the community police for Karkh side, reviewed the statistics of cases of electronic extortion and the procedures for dealing with them with tips to avoid falling into it.
