The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications ,Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, met with the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Hakim Al-Zamili.

During the meeting, they discussed supporting the University of Information Technology and Communications as a university that provides a service to support digital transformations in Iraq, and its hosting of the capacity-building program for Iraqi ministries within the digital transformations project of the Diwani Order Committee 22 of 2020.

The meeting included discussing the construction of private buildings for the university within the land allocated to it near Baghdad International Airport.

Dr. Al-Bakri valued the legislative authority’s support for education in the country and for Iraqi universities, which contributes to enhancing the service and educational reality that Iraqi universities provide to government institutions, and the work done in the service of the public good, and to improve the outcomes of Iraqi universities.
