The Biomedical Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications held a scientific symposium entitled (Deepfake).

The symposium was delivered by Dr. Sinan Abdul-Aali Naji and Dr. Imad Qassem Habib, where they discussed an introductory overview of (Deepfake) technology, which is considered as a type of “Deep learning”, and it is a technique of using media in which a person in an existing photo or video is replaced with the appearance, voice, or movement of another person, and this is considered digital forgery.

The seminar focused on deepfake, which is a type of artificial intelligence that allows computers to learn tasks independently without being explicitly programmed, and the seminar also addressed its most important applications, methods of dealing with it, and its importance.
