The Deanship and students of the Biomedical Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications took the initiative to plant some trees to combat desertification.

This initiative comes from the environmentally tense climate situation, and for the purpose of upgrading and increasing green spaces, pruning trees and reforestation of gardens to make Iraq’s environment more beautiful and pure.

The faculty’s staff and students carried out the rehabilitation, maintenance and planting of the faculty’s gardens, which are among the faculty’s permanent activities to take care of the green spaces, with a donation by the faculty staff Muhammad Qassem Jawad, in order to improve the environmental situation in the faculty and give it a decent aesthetic as it is a vital outlet for the university student.
