The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil kathem Abdel-Saheb, honored Assistant Professor Dr. Jaafar Athab Al-Ghazi, Head of the Department of Communications Engineering and Mobile Computing, at the College of Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Communication , with the Distinguished Academic Award for the academic year 2021-2022.

The honoring took place during the ceremony organized by the Iraqi Academics Syndicate on the occasion of the Iraqi Academic Day on Thursday, March 31, 2022, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with the participation of a large number of professors and academics from Iraqi universities and a number of distinguished scientific figures.

For his part, Dr. Jaafar Athab confirmed that this honor comes as a result of the unlimited support from the Presidency of the University and the Deanship of the College of Engineering for their continuous communication and trust in all professors in order to raise the scientific level and support the scientific process.
