Ahmed student Rashid Mahmoud from the College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information and Communications Technology won an award at the fourteenth Arab Robotics Championship in Qatar.
The student of the second stage in the Department of Smart Medical Systems won third place in this championship for his project (a special chair for people with special needs), where he won this award among 22 projects that competed for the first three places, While Dr. Munira Abd Hamdi from the same college supervised the student’s project in addition to being selected as a member of the jury in the Arab Robotics Championship.
It should be noted that many Arab countries participated in this competition and more than 320 teams, This competition aims to reformulate the interests of participating students in the fields of learning and knowledge, Assist participants interested in science and technology in highlighting their energies and abilities, In addition to developing the spirit of creativity among students participating in the field of robotics, It also provides a competitive environment for qualified Arab youth through competitions, It contributes to the development of participants’ skills in engineering, electronics, programming and artificial intelligence.
