Student Ahmed Rashid Mahmoud from the College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communication won a prize in the 14th Arab Robot Championship in Qatar.

A second-stage student in the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems won third place in this tournament for his project (a special chair for people with special needs). To her selection as a jury member in the Arab Robot Championship.

It should be noted that many Arab countries participated in this competition and more than 320 teams. This competition aims to reformulate the interests of participating students in the fields of learning and knowledge, help participants interested in science and technology highlight their energies and capabilities, and develop the spirit of creativity among students participating in the field of robotics. It provides a competitive environment for qualified Arab youth through competitions and contributes to the development of participants’ skills in engineering, electronics, programming, and artificial intelligence.
