Second Developmental Workshop in Phase 3 of 2023 for the Capacity Building Training Program for Employees of State Institutions towards Electronic Transformations

The workshop, entitled “Advanced computer networks”, was presented by Assit. Prof. dr. Golan Rokan Nayef, teacher in the Iraqi Commission for computers and Informatics, and Wa’am Sa’adi Hamza, teacher at  University of Information Technology and Communications. It was organized over a period of five days from 2-6/4/2023. On the first day, it presented an introduction to computer networks, network building levels and network operations vis-à-vis system operations and network protections

On the second day, trainees were given Information about the fourth issue of the Internet Protocol, the control of the transmission and the discussion of the sixth edition. On the third day, trainers tackled  the network devices and presented on Ethernet and on the fourth day the workshop presented a dynamic guidance to the composition of Cisco services.

On the fifth and final day of the workshop, the lecturers addressed the functions of network equipment and network speed, as well as discussing interlocutors with the trainees of state institutions.
