The University of Information Technology and Communication (UoITC) entered the green metric classification.

The classification is based on classifying universities according to environmental conservation standards.
This classification aims to improve the reality of universities concerning sustainability, such as spreading academic awareness about sustainability in education and greening the campus, as well as creating a self-assessment tool for campus sustainability for higher education institutions around the world.
It also aims to inform local governments, international and local environmental institutions, and the community about sustainability programs on campus.
