A Seminar entitled Cyber Crimes was held by the University of Information Technology and Communication (UoITC).

The seminar was presented by Dr. Hasanain Al-Taee and his research team consisting of creative students Husein Abbas Abdul Aziz & Dania Redha Hadi.

Dr. Al-Taee and his team shed light on the different ways of hacking computers through malware and scam websites and how hackers exploit security flaws for harassment and bullying.

In addition, the seminar presented different means of technical and behavioral protection and ways to create strong and difficult-to-hack passwords. In the end, a recommendation was made for some books on protecting computers and networks and a free training initiative for the second-stage students in the Department of Business Information Technology.
