The seminar was held by the College of Biomedical Informatics and presented by two lecturers, Assistant Prof. Dr. Sana Ahmed Kadhem and Assistant Lec. Farah Qahtan Kamel highlights the increasing role of girls in the field of information technology. The seminar addressed the challenges and opportunities faced by girls who wish to enter and succeed in this technological field and showcased inspiring success stories of Iraqi, Arab, and international women. It also touched on statistics that indicate the role of women in the rapidly advancing world of technology. Furthermore, such seminars aim to achieve gender equality, the fifth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations.
