The College of Engineering held a seminar on “Quality Publishing in Scopus and Clarivate Journals.”
The seminar, delivered by Assist. Lec. Yaqin Sabah, Department of Communication Engineering and Mobile Computing, focused on several important topics that contribute to improving and facilitating the process of scientific publishing in international journals. These topics included choosing the right journal for publication and quality standards in scientific journals. The seminar highlighted the steps for preparing research for publication, the importance of complying with the journal’s guidelines, and the scientific peer review process that the research undergoes, in addition to academic ethics in publishing and promoting published research. It also addressed the challenges and difficulties that researchers may face, as well as the role of scientific publishing in advancing academic research.
