The University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) concluded its eighth international conference on New Trends in Information and Communication Technology Applications (NTICT24). This conference was held in cooperation with the University of Al-Mostaqbal and sponsored by the German publishing house Springer on 18-19/12/2024. The second day’s activities began with a research paper presented by Dr. Abeer Hussein, Professor of Machine Learning at the College of Engineering at the University of Liverpool previously and currently at the University of Sharjah, in which she discussed the applications of artificial intelligence in its agricultural, engineering and health types and their effects on human analyses, animal behavior, and the nutritional system. This paper was followed by the second speaker who gave his lecture remotely, Professor Dr. Abed Yahya, a lecturer at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology. It was about the use of machines and artificial intelligence in preserving wildlife and sustaining the environment. Then the scientific sessions of the researchers began to present their research papers. The diverse papers covered different fields such as oil, health, social media, etc. The speakers, committees, and researchers were honored at the end of the conference. Scientific recommendations were given to be submitted to higher authorities for approval.
