The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research awarded one University of Information Technology and Communications lecturer the Iraqi Science Day Award. The lecturer at the College of Business Informatics, Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Jumaili, received the Best Scientific Book Award for the year 2023, in appreciation of his distinguished contributions to writing a specialized scientific book:(Security Algorithms Practical in C). The book is a qualitative addition to its field. The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, attended the Iraqi Science Day Award Ceremony, which was inaugurated by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi. Al-Bakri congratulated our university and Dr. Muhammad Ali for receiving this award amidst this great scientific gathering, wishing more progress for the university’s members in service of the educational process.
