A discussion of the PhD thesis by researcher Maryam Imran Moussa, took place at the Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies. The thesis is titled “Medical Disease Prediction and Classification Using Grey Wolf Optimization and Deep Learning,” .

The thesis adopted a new approach to enhance disease prediction and classification using deep learning techniques, which are considered one of the methodologies of artificial intelligence. The research focuses on deriving an improved prediction process for medical images as a means for medical diagnosis and patient care through the sharing of knowledge between computer experts and medical professionals.

After the discussion, the student was awarded a PhD in Computer Science with a grade of Very Good.
