The Qualification and Employment Division at the University of Information Technology and Communications looks forward to continuing cooperation and achieving more job and training opportunities for university graduates. A field visit by the division’s head, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Talal Yassin, and the Senior Programmer Communication Unit Head, Shihab Ahmed, to the job fair launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) contributed to strengthening the network of professional relationships.

More than 60 leading companies from the private sector participated in this exhibition, which is considered the largest of its kind in Iraq, with the aim of providing job and training opportunities for graduates and youth. During the visit, the division viewed many of the participating pavilions and interacted with company representatives, which enabled a better understanding of the needs of the labor market.

As part of the ongoing efforts to support graduates and students and enhance job opportunities, this participation came as an affirmation of the importance of cooperation between the University of Information Technology and Communications and the private sector.
