Three lecturers from the university participated in the sixth training course for preparing trainers TOT, which was hosted by Al-Mustansiriya University and lasted a whole month. The course, in which the head of the university’s Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Department, lecturer Asst. Prof. Dr. Alaa Talal Yassin, lecturer Asst. Dr. Hassanein Majeed Hassan from the College of Business Informatics, and lecturer Asst. Prof. Nashwan Diaa from the College of Engineering, specialized in teaching methods towards blended learning according to the updated curriculum, within the project to develop teaching methods adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of more than 100 trainees from all Iraqi universities. After the lecturers obtained this ministerial certificate and the title of trainers, the university could hold teaching methods courses within the updated curriculum, in addition to their ability to train lecturers at the university and other universities and within the updated scientific curriculum developed by the ministry. The course included an introduction to the program, which was launched in 2022 at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the United Nations and went through several stages presented by the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Professor Dr. Saad Ali Zayer, and a member of the Executive Committee, Dr. Muhammad Jawad Muhammad, in which they discussed the definition of the program and the specializations it targets, in addition to addressing the skills of a successful trainer, types of trainees, body language, the training package, the difference between training and education, and dealing with questions.
