The University of Information Technology and Communications maintained its entry in the Times British classification for sustainable development for the year 2024 within the Iraqi universities and colleges, which included more than 1963 academic institutions from over 108 countries worldwide.
The official results indicated an increase in the number of Iraqi universities and colleges that secured their positions in this ranking, with seventy-one Iraqi universities and colleges registering competitive positions.
This classification evaluates universities using the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. There are 17 goals including education quality, health, well-being, partnerships, industry, and innovation.
It is worth mentioning that despite being a specialized university in the field of information technology and communications, our university is committed to implementing sustainable development goals and has achieved seven of them, including gender equality, affordable and clean energy, quality education, and partnership-building.
