The University of Information Technology and Communications organized a workshop on the application for reporting detainees. The workshop, presented by the head and members of the National Committee for Integrating Criminal Justice Data, chaired by one of the university’s faculty members, focused on the university’s role in preparing for the launch of the criminal justice system. It is worth noting that the application has previously been tested in several police stations affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior. The workshop also discussed how to distribute the application for reporting detainees and coordinate with all relevant parties to enforce a mandatory law for its implementation. Specialists from the Iraqi Ministry of Defense attended the workshop, along with a group from various enforcement agencies and ministries involved in implementing the social justice system, for training on using the system and providing feedback for development to ensure data sharing among criminal justice institutions, under the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
